Chicago Community Bond Fund
The Chicago Community Bond Fund (CCBF) pays bond for people charged with crimes in Cook County, Illinois. Through a revolving fund, CCBF supports individuals whose communities cannot afford to pay the bonds themselves and who have been impacted by structural violence.
Black Girls Break Bread
Black Girls Break Bread (BGBB) is a Chicago-based 5 non-profit organization founded by Chicago natives, Jessica Davenport-Williams, Khadija Warfield and Jazzy Davenport-Russ, with a mission to empower, uplift and inspire Black women and girls through the creation of safe spaces for intergenerational discourse and engagement.
Crossroads
Crossroads’ mission is to equip institutions with shared language, frameworks, practices and tools that will assist them in diagnosing how their institutions are structured to uphold white supremacy culture and systemic racism and deploying strategies aimed at animating antiracist ways of being that result in racially equitable institutional culture and practices.
EverThrive Illinois
For more than 30 years, EverThrive Illinois has been advancing the health and safety of Illinoisans by supporting access to quality health care and providing resources to achieve health equity. Working to ensure people from communities most impacted by injustice have the access, resources, health care, and choice to create and sustain healthy families on their own terms.
Asian Human Services
Founded in 1978, this non-profit organization is dedicated to helping people become healthy, educated and employed. We serve all who seek our help, with special expertise in the challenges facing refugees, immigrants and other underserved communities in the greater Chicago area.
The Anti-Racism Project
The Anti-Racism Project seeks to educate participants about how institutionalized racism, internalized racism and white privilege feed oppression. This communal experience culminates in the hope that participants will go on to develop their own social action plans for racial justice.
